Lian & Figg
Lian and Figg will always have a special place in my heart. Voodoo Dues and Vampire Blues were my first published books, full of quirky magic, dangerous adventures, and the kind of found-family hijinks I still adore writing.
As my work has evolved, the urban fantasy style of that era doesn’t quite reflect the stories I’m telling today—but I couldn’t bring myself to just tuck these books away. I still pull characters from that universe (sharp-eyed readers might recognize Michael Stillwater in Crone of Oria, or Carl the necromancer training Cora in Echoes of Oria), so Lian and Figg live on!
Rather than let them fade quietly, I’m “retiring” the series from sale and making them available as free downloads on my website for anyone who wants to meet (or revisit) these two troublemakers and their magical world. That is until I decide what to do with them.
