This Thursday, Echoes of Oria releases into the world, and with it, the beginning of something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. And working on for even longer. I think I wrote the first chapter more than ten years ago, then promptly forgot about it until September of last year.

Oria is more than just a small Texas town with a ghost problem. It’s a universe. A place where ley lines hum under your feet, ancient magic hides in plain sight, and everyone has a story. This book kicks off a collection of interconnected standalones, each one with its own particular flavor, and its own piece of the town’s strange, haunted heart.
If you’ve read my other work, you’ll recognize a few familiar themes: found family, a healthy dose of the supernatural, a heroine who’s probably going through it, and the kind of romantic tension that burns. But Oria is something new. It’s weirder. It’s wilder. And it’s a little more personal.
To be honest, I’m nervous. Launching a new universe is thrilling, but it also feels like cracking open a door and asking, Do you want to come in?
If your answer is yes—thank you. Truly. I can’t wait to show you around.
I’ll be sharing more this week, including a closer look at Cora (our reluctant heroine) and the ghost who refuses to leave her alone. Maybe even a little about our MMC. Stay tuned. Or better yet—pack a bag. You’re going to want to stay awhile.
